About Lauren

Hello and a warm welcome.

My own cycle tracking practice and reproductive health education journey starts back in 2013 when I first discovered menstrual cycle awareness through a vegan YouTuber and bought “the fertility bible,” - Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

I carried that beast of a book around with me everywhere and started using paper charts to document my daily cycle changes. This all came after trying the pill for a few months and being absolutely rocked by how intense it felt in my body. Sidebar: I’m definitely not anti-pill if it works for you but strongly encourage being aware of what you’re taking and how it impacts your hormones/fertility/wellbeing.

This pushed me to investigate and start exploring how there must be other ways to navigate fertility and the fertile window.

In 2018, this exploration led me to pursue a Masters in the women’s health field and seek out other holistic health modalities that complimented my western medicine education. This was truly the start of my approach to having a foot inside both the holistic health realm and modern medicine field which I think is still the missing piece when trying to navigate our current health and wellness paradigm.

My next step in my own cycle tracking journey was to use Natural Cycles for a number of years and after unexpectedly conceiving while using the app, my practice and approach to learning about my body and my cycle went through an intense time.

I felt like I had to return to the beginning and slowly build up trust with myself again after getting pregnant unintentionally, while also getting really honest about what kind of relationship I was in at the time and what was actually healthy for me.

I decided to pursue an abortion and that experience became another layer of self discovery and act of choosing myself (when my partner at the time disagreed with me) - I am incredibly grateful that I was able to access a surgical abortion and also be held by my close people during that time.

After taking a pause and becoming single for a number of years, I felt like I could approach my cycle and upgrade my existing knowledge in a new way. I found the right mentors and teachers while also becoming clear about how I wanted my fertility awareness practice to look and feel like.

Throughout this period, I managed and led in the reproductive and sexual health field both in Australia and Canada before starting my own business in 2024.

Now I get to support women and people across the womb continuum - we work together to create new ways of relating to the body and become more comfortable with ourselves.

The journey continues! Thank you for being here with me 🌀
